Northumberland 20th to 23rd March 2026
Four-Day Coastal Photography Workshop in Northumberland
Join us for a four-day photography workshop along Northumberland’s wild and atmospheric coastline. Based in the historic village of Bamburgh, this immersive experience is designed for photographers who are drawn to dramatic skies, windswept beaches, and expressive, minimalist landscapes.
March offers solitude, shifting light, and elemental weather—ideal conditions for capturing moody seascapes and developing your creative approach to coastal photography. With expert guidance and tide-timed access to Lindisfarne (Holy Island), you’ll explore some of the most evocative locations in northeast England while refining your technical and artistic skills.
Workshop Overview
Each day is built around sunrise and sunset shoots, with flexible scheduling to respond to changing conditions. You’ll photograph storm-sculpted beaches, rolling dunes, and remote shorelines, learning how to work with natural elements like mist, tide, and cloud to create emotional, story-driven images.
A full day is dedicated to Lindisfarne, offering soft light, retreating tides, and quiet perspectives ideal for reflective photography. Group editing sessions and one-on-one feedback help you shape your portfolio and post-processing style.
