Embark on a curated visual expedition across New Zealand’s South Island, exploring iconic landscapes and pristine dark-sky locations. The itinerary flows through lakes, valleys, coastlines, and alpine passes — each chosen to balance accessibility with creative potential.

  • Queenstown & Glenorchy: Lakeside serenity and starry scenes in Paradise Valley

  • Moke Lake & Skippers Canyon: Reflections and dramatic canyon vistas

  • Aoraki / Mt. Cook & Tekapo: Southern Alps under the Milky Way

  • Moeraki & Nugget Point: Coastal compositions and lighthouse silhouettes

  • Catlins & Fiordland: Waterfalls, forest textures, and twilight shores

  • Wanaka & Hawea: Iconic trees, autumn colors, and final portfolio reflections

This workshop is designed to elevate astro technique and creativity:

  • Star trails, galactic arcs, light-painted foregrounds

  • Iconic dark-sky spots: Mt. Cook, Tekapo, Moeraki, Fiordland

  • Milky Way shoot planning via tools like PhotoPills & Stellarium
